A while back, I was helping a blogger friend in looking for ways to move all her post from New Blogger (previously known as Blogger in Beta) to Wordpress, but it was not possible... To her frustration, she has decided to just stick to Blogger, though she has paid for her yearly domain fee...

When I was setting up my own domain (www.shannonchong.com), I had this problem too... I was going to pull my hair off, and call it quits too, but but, I paid so much for the hosting too... So, I searched around...

This is how I did it in the end...

Wordpress has recently came up with the possibility to migrate all post and comments from New Blogger to wordpress, but it was only available for wordpress.com (meaning the free version of wordpress)... Good enough, so I created my blog and import everything in Blogger over to Wordpress... Now, I did an export when it was completed... Yeah, an export from wordpress.com... And FINALLY, another import from my actual blog hosted under my own domain... Yeah, it is a work around, but at least, it works!!!

All my post are now sitting snugly (wahaha) in my own domain, but of course, with that said, I have a 3 duplicates of each post, Blogger, wordpress.com & www.shannonchong.com...

But of course, the main Crumbs In Life..... is now in www.shannonchong.com...
